EMPTYING THE DUST CUP
1. To empty the dust cup,
first disconnect the
handheld vacuum from
the wand by pressing

This document provides a quick start guide for the Shark® ROCKET® PRO POWERFINS CORDLESS VACUUM, model IZ362H. It covers assembly, versatile cleaning options, power settings, battery information, and basic maintenance.

Function Description:

The Shark® ROCKET® PRO POWERFINS CORDLESS VACUUM is a versatile, cordless vacuum cleaner designed for both floor and above-floor cleaning. It features PowerFins technology for enhanced debris pickup and a removable handheld vacuum for targeted cleaning. The device is powered by a Li-Ion battery, offering cordless convenience.

  • Battery Type: Li-Ion Battery (pre-installed)
  • Charging Time: Approximately 3 hours for a full charge.
  • Battery Runtime:
    • Hand Vac: 40 minutes
    • Bare Floor/Standard Mode: 25 minutes
    • Carpet Mode/Standard Mode: 20 minutes
    • Boost Mode (Hand Vac): 10 minutes
  • Filters: HEPA Post-Motor Filter (pre-installed) and Anti-Allergen Brush.

Usage Features:

Assembly:

  1. Insert the wand into the PowerFins Floor Nozzle until it clicks.
  2. Insert the handheld vacuum into the wand until it clicks.

Versatile Cleaning:

  • Floor Cleaning: Slide the power button to the desired power setting, place your foot on the floor nozzle, and tilt the handheld vacuum back to engage the brushroll.
  • Above-Floor Cleaning (with wand): Stand the vacuum upright, press the Nozzle Release button on the bottom of the wand, and pull the wand up to disconnect it. Attach a cleaning accessory (e.g., Crevice Tool, Upholstery Tool, Anti-Allergen Brush) to the wand.
  • Handheld Vacuum Cleaning: Press the Wand Release button and lift the handheld vacuum off the wand. Attach a cleaning accessory directly to the handheld vacuum.

Power Settings:

  • OFF: Slide the switch to the top to turn off power.
  • BARE FLOOR SETTING (Bare Floor/Area Rugs): Slide the switch to the middle. The brushroll spins slowly, suitable for bare floors and small area rugs.
  • CARPET SETTING (Carpet): Slide the switch to the bottom. The brushroll spins faster for deep cleaning of carpets (per ASTM F 608 for embedded dirt). This setting is also recommended for stuck-on dirt and debris.
  • BOOST MODE: Pull the Trigger on the handheld vacuum for an added boost in power. Release the trigger to return to standard power.

Battery Management:

  • Inserting the Battery: Slide the Li-Ion Battery into the slot in the back of the handheld vacuum.
  • Removing the Battery: Press and hold the Battery Release Button, then slide out the battery.
  • Charging:
    • The battery can be charged while in the vacuum or removed and charged separately.
    • Connect the charger to the battery.
    • Battery Indicator Lights show the charge status: Full Charge, Mid Charge, Nearly Empty, No Charge.
    • The battery comes partially charged; it is recommended to charge fully before first use.

  1. Disconnect the handheld vacuum from the wand by pressing the Wand Release button and pulling up the handheld vacuum.
  2. Position the dust cup over a trash bin.
  3. Slide the CleanTouch™ Dirt Ejector forward to release debris.
