To return to normal speed, select “± 0%”.
[On the remote control]
1. During playback, hold down the MODE button for 2 seconds
or more.
2. Within 10 seconds, select a speed by pressing the

button. Move ♪ to adjust the speed.

Press the MODE button to complete the setting.
To return to normal speed, move ♪ to the
position.
SETTING THE ALARM
(pages 66 - 67)
[On the main unit]
1. During playback or in the stop mode, press the MENU but-
ton.
2. Select “ALARM” by pressing the
or button and
press the MENU button.
3. Select “ON” by pressing the
or button and press
the MENU button.
4. Select the time by pressing the
or button and
press the MENU button.
You can set the time from 1 to 99 minutes.
When the set time comes:
The alarm beeps repeatedly for one minute from the headphones.
To stop the beep sound:
Press any button on the main unit or the remote control.
To change the set time:
Repeat the operation from step 1.
To cancel the alarm setting:
Select “OFF” in step 3.
To cancel each registered track:
1. Press the MODE button on the remote control until “MY” is
displayed.
2. Select the track you wish to cancel by pressing the
or
button.
3. While the selected track is playing, press the button on
the remote control for 2 seconds or more.
To cancel all favorite track at once:
1. Insert a MiniDisc with “favorite tracks”.
2.
In the stop mode, press the MENU button on the main unit.
3. Select “SET UP” by pressing the
or button and
press the MENU button.
4. Select “MY DELETE” by pressing the
or button
and press the MENU button.
5.
Press the MENU button. All favorite tracks are now canceled.
Intro play (page 63)
This function plays the beginning of each track for 9 seconds.
1. While playback is stopped, press the
button for 2 sec-
onds or more.
2. Press the button when you reach the track you wish to
listen to. Normal playback will resume.
Note:
Intro play is available only when normal playback or all track re-
peat playback is selected.
To adjust playback speed (pages 64 - 65)
[On the main unit]
1. During playback, press the MENU button.
2. Select “PLAY SPEED” by pressing the
or button
and press the MENU button.
