Using Memories
The calculator uses global variable memories (A–Z and θ), local variable
memories (maximum of nine variables per equation), and a last answer
memory used when solving equations.
Using alphabetic characters
You can enter an alphabetic character (written
in blue) when ALPHA is displayed at the top of
the display. To enter this mode, press ;.
To enter more than one alphabetic character,
press @ a to apply the alphabet-lock
mode. Press ; to escape from this mode.
Using global variables
You can assign values (numbers) to global variables by pressing x then
A–Z and θ.
Example 1
Store 6 in global variable A.
1. Press j 6 x A.
• There is no need to press ; because
ALPHA is selected automatically when
you press x.
