Entering Characters

Character Entry Areas

Alphanumeric characters and symbols can be entered into dot and number display areas.

Entering Symbols

Lists 20 available symbols and how to cycle through them using the SMBL key.

Making Corrections

Move cursor to correct character and re-enter to make corrections.

Cursor Movement

Use cursor movement keys to position the cursor for entry or editing.

Inserting Characters

Press INS to insert a space at the cursor position for character entry.

Deleting Characters

Press DEL to delete the character at the current cursor position.

Setting the Home Clock and Home City

Displaying Home/World Clock

Press the CLOCK key to switch between Home and World clocks.

Press EDIT to enter the mode for changing date and time settings.

Accessing Telephone Mode

Press the mode key (BUSINESS, PERSONAL, OTHER) to display the Telephone mode screen.

Entering Name and Number

Enter name, phone number, and optional fax number for the listing.

Entering E-mail and URL

Enter E-mail address and URL (web address) for the listing.

Skipping Entries

Press ENTER to skip entry of phone number, E-mail, or URL fields.

Schedule Mode

Storing Schedule Listings

Enter date, time, and description details to store schedule entries.
