When an error message is displayed on the display, proceed as follows:
Display Meaning Remedy
BLANK
● Nothing is recorded. ● Replace the disc with a
recorded disc.
E-DISC
● The disc is damaged or
the music information is
not written properly on the
disc.
● Replace the disc.
E-SYS
● The unit is malfunctioning
and will require service.
● For service, contact your
local Sharp authorized
servicer.
E-TEMP
● The temperature is too
high.
● Turn off the power, and
wait for a while.
E-TOC
E-UTOC
● The disc is damaged. ● Replace the disc.
Lo BATT
● The battery has run down. ● Charge the rechargeable
battery or replace the
alkaline battery (or use
the AC adaptor for power).
No DISC
● A disc has not been
loaded.
● Load a disc.
POWER?
● Improper power is being
supplied.
● Use one of the specified
power sources.
?DISC
● There is an error in the
signal from the disc.
● Replace the disc.
