8-1. PC-1261 flat type PWB circuit diagram
Si n ce the first production unit t he P - COS type RAM un it (2 KB x 5 ) h a s b e en use d for the PC -1 261 memo r y PWB un i t .
But , in some of PWB unit in future , it may be sup e rseded by the fla t typ e PWB un it t ha t cons ists o f th e 8 KB flat p a c ka ge d
RAM (UPD4364G - 20L ) , c o mposed of the flat p a ckag e d th e P - COS ty p e RAM (2 KB x 4 ) , an d th e 2 KB RAM ( H M6 11 6 or
TC5711 ).
The P-COS type PWB un i t will be in s upply for ser v i c e p ar ts fo r th e t i m e b ein g .
The flat type PWB unit i s interchangeab le with the P - COS typ e by th e wh o le uni t.
NOTE : P - COS mean s t he prin t e d circ uit board on whic h LSI c h ips ar e direc tly bo n ded.
