6. Adjustment of Ram Gib:
Ram gib is attached to the position between the ram and the turret dovetail. Tightness of ram
can be adjusted properly by gib bolts.
a. Loosen the ram lock bolts ( A ).
b. Clean the slideway and add the lubricant.
c. Loosen the nuts on gib bolts ( B ).
d. Use a screw dricer to adjust the gib bolts until the ram sides smoothly.
e. Lock up the nuts.
