FUNCTION CHECK (2) (VIDEO AND AUDIO)
8. COLOUR SYSTEM
1. Receive the PAL colour bar signal. Using the COL-
OUR SYSTEM button, select a mode other than
AUTO/PAL and make sure the colour system does
not work properly.
2. Receive the SECAM colour bar signal. Using the
COLOUR SYSTEM button, select a mode other
than AUTO/SECAM and make sure the colour
system does not work properly.
3. Receive the NTSC 4.43 colour bar signal. Using
the COLOUR SYSTEM button, select a mode
other than N4.43 and make sure the colour sys-
tem does not work properly.
4. Receive the NTSC 3.58 colour bar signal. Using
the COLOUR SYSTEM button, select a mode
other than AUTO/N3.58 and make sure the col-
our system does not work properly.
Note : When the NTSC 4.43 colour bar special sig-
nal is used in the AUTO mode, the colour sys-
tem does not work. (Check in the forced
mode.)

1. Receive the sound system D/K signal. Using the
SOUND SYSTEM button, select M, B/G and I
modes and make sure the sound system does
not work properly.
2. Receive the sound system I signal. Using the
SOUND SYSTEM button, select M, B/G and D/K
modes and make sure the sound system does
not work properly.
3. Receive the sound system B/G signal. Using the
SOUND SYSTEM button, select M, I and D/K
modes and make sure the sound system does
not work properly.
4. Receive the sound system M signal. Using the
SOUND SYSTEM button, select B/G, I and D/K
modes and make sure the sound system does
not work properly.
