Alternatively, smplayer is a QT based mplayer frontend which I customised to be able to run atty's
optimized mplayer-bvdd.
In pdaXii13, mplayer is a wrapper script which calls the real mplayer binaries (mplayer1, mplayer2,
mplayer3) depending on the options set. bvdd is the default and xrandr is automatically called to
refresh the screen after mplayer exits.

The latest pdaXii13 contains a patch for the kernel to support Bass, Treble and 3D stereo sounds.
