INSERTING THE EARPHONES

If the earphone seems to be lacking in low frequency response (bass), check

the tightness of the seal between the earphone and your ear, or try one of the

other sleeve options.

Warning: Do not push the earphone sleeve beyond the ear canal opening.

WEARING THE EARPHONES

Two popular methods for wearing the earphones are illustrated below.

CHOOSING AN EARPHONE SLEEVE

Your earphones come with a selection of sleeves. Make sure the sleeve you

use is easy to insert into your ear, ts comfortably, and is easy to remove from

your ear.

CLEANING THE EARPHONE NOZZLE

If the nozzle of your earphone is blocked, clean the nozzle using the supplied

wax removal loop.

Make sure that the sleeve completely

covers the earphone nozzle. If any part

of the nozzle is exposed, the sleeve is

not properly installed.

Yellow and Black Foam Sleeves

When using the foam sleeves, compress the sleeve between

your ngers before inserting it into the ear canal. Hold the

earphone in place for about ten seconds while the foam

expands and creates a tight seal. Black foams come in

small, medium and large sizes.

Soft Flex Sleeves

In small, medium, and large sizes. Made from pliable rubber.

Triple-Flange Sleeves

If desired, the sleeve nozzle may be shortened. Use sharp

scissors to carefully trim the nozzle to the desired length.

Wax Removal Loop

Tighten the cable and take up slack by raising the cable sleeve .

When cleaning, do not force any object through the earphone nozzle! This will

damage the earphone sound lter.

If necessary, the supplied replacement nozzles may be used. See the back of

this guide for instructions on nozzle replacement.

The SCL5 earphones come with a selection of sleeves to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Users should select a sleeve that is easy to insert and remove from the ear, and that fits comfortably. The available sleeve types include:

Soft Flex Sleeves: These are made from pliable rubber and come in small, medium, and large sizes.
Yellow and Black Foam Sleeves: To use these, compress the sleeve between your fingers before inserting it into the ear canal. Hold the earphone in place for approximately ten seconds to allow the foam to expand and create a tight seal. Black foam sleeves are available in small, medium, and large sizes.
Triple-Flange Sleeves: The nozzle of these sleeves can be shortened if desired by carefully trimming it with sharp scissors to the preferred length.

Over the ear in front: The cable is routed in front of the ear. To secure the fit, tighten the cable and take up any slack by raising the cable sleeve.

Maintenance Features:

General Maintenance:

Proper maintenance is crucial for ensuring a tight seal between the sleeve and nozzle, which directly impacts sound quality and product safety.

Always keep the earphones and sleeves as clean and dry as possible.
To clean sleeves, remove them from the earphones, gently rinse them in warm water, and air dry. Foam sleeves require a longer drying time.
Inspect sleeves regularly for damage and replace them if necessary.
Ear sleeves must be completely dry before being reused.
Wipe the earphones and sleeves with a mild antiseptic to prevent infections. Do not use alcohol-based disinfectants.
Do not expose the earphones to extreme temperatures.
Replace sleeves if they no longer fit properly.
Do not attempt to modify the product, as this will void the warranty and could lead to personal injury or product failure.
