What to do if air gets into SICO S250 BASIC bags after sealing?
- Bbrett13Aug 5, 2025
If air gets into bags or containers after the suction and sealing cycle is complete, ensure bags are not pierced. Check the sealing area for rests or wrinkles that could cause vacuum loss; if found, open the bag and repeat the cycle. When vacuum-packing food with points, wrap it in soft paper to prevent piercing. Note that fermentation or natural gas release from food could reinflate the bag, making the food unsafe to eat. For containers, verify that the valve and gaskets are properly placed and that containers and lids have no cracks or holes. Also, check the rim of the container for damage in the lid adherence area.
