Siemens C55 - Orange Answer Fax; Installing the C55 as a Modem

To install your C55 as a modem:
1 Download the GPRS modem assistant
software from www.my-siemens.com.
2 Connect your C55 to your laptop via a
data cable.
3 Select the modem software, and then
select data cable as your method of
connection.
4 Select an automatic or manual
connection, and then install the modem
assistant software.
5 Once the software is installed, the
Siemens icon will appear on your
display.
6 A phone connection wizard will appear
on your display. Work through the
wizard, which will require you to enter a
name for your phone.
To activate your data and fax modem,
double-click the Siemens icon, enter your
location and ‘Orange UK’ as your service
provider, and then select Connect.
To end your connection, double-click the
Siemens icon and select Yes.
