First washing cycle
Carry out the first wash without any laundry in the machine to
remove residual water left from testing the machine at the
factory.
m Check that the transport security devices have been removed
from at the back of the machine (refer to the removal
instructions for the machine).
m Open the water tap.
m Open the detergent drawer as far as it will go.
m Pour approximately one litre of water into chamber II of the
drawer
m Put standard detergent in chamber II using the measuring
cup. Never use detergent for delicate or woollen items
because it produces too much foam.
m Turn the programme selector to the right (clockwise) to the
«Cotton 90º C» programme. The «Wash Q/Ready d»
indicator light flashes.
m Press the «Start
3» button. The programme starts and the
«Wash Q/Ready d» indicator light stays on.
m When the programme has finished, the «Spin
5/Finished m»
indicator light starts flashing. Set the programme selector to
«Stop» and the light goes out.
