How can I set the number of rings?
For remote operation, you can set how many times the telephone rings before the answering machine is
activated. You can choose between two to nine rings and the automatic charge saving function.
With the automatic charge saving function (factory default) the answering machine is activated after:
2 rings: there are new messages.
4 rings: no new messages have been received.
When operating remotely you then know that if the telephone rings three times there are no new
messages - if you end the call now, no call charges are incurred.
1. Open the menu, press control key (on the dark displayed side).
2. Select "Answer Machine", press control key and confirm with
display key
.
3. Select "Ring Delay", press control key and confirm with display
key
.
4. Set the number of rings (<2 rings> - <9 rings>) or the charge saving
function
(<auto>)
with
control
key
or
and
confirm
with
display key
(Save). The setting is now saved.
