Operating the appliance
Note: Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and
switch it off again several minutes after you have finished
cooking. This is the most effective way of removing the kitchen
fumes.
Controls
Use the remote control to set and adjust the various different
functions of your appliance.
Note: The remote control requires CR2032/3 V batteries. Refer
to the Changing the batteries in the remote control section for
instructions on how to insert the batteries.
Note: Point as accurately as you can with the remote control to
the infrared receiver on the extractor hood's control panel.
Note: Heat and penetrating moisture may damage the remote
control. Never expose the remote control to intense heat or
moisture.

Note: To switch on fan setting 3, for example, you do not need
to press all three
û û û buttons at the same time; you simply
need to press the third button to the right of the
# button.
Switching the appliance on and off
Note: Always adjust the setting according to the current
conditions. To eliminate strong cooking smells, select a high
fan setting.
Switching on the appliance
Press the
" button on the remote control or the # button on
the extractor hood's control panel.
The extractor hood starts at fan setting 1.
The
# button and the first û button will light up when power
setting 1 has been selected.
Selecting the fan setting
To apply a power setting, press the
@ or A button on the
remote control or the
û button for the power setting you require
on the extractor hood's control panel.
The
# button and the first û button will light up when power
setting 1 has been selected.
The
# button and the first two û buttons will light up when
power setting 2 has been selected.
The
# button and the first three û buttons will light up when
power setting 3 has been selected.
