If you receive an error message when starting the operating software for your Siemens Voice Recorder SIMEAS Q80 7KG8080, consider the following: 1. Check the connection between the SIMEAS Q80 7KG8080 and your PC. 2. Verify that you have specified the correct connection type (Ethernet, TCP/IP, PPP) according to the specifications on the type plaque. 3. After reactivating the SIMEAS Q80 7KG8080, in the “Start/Stop network analysis” dialog, disconnect and then reconnect. 4. Note that hardware parameters are imported only after the initial connection to the device.
