cleaning
to
be
done

least

year
or
when
unit
is
being
serviced.

Remove

screws

and

washers
on
case
bottom
and
remove
case
(em
9)
from
unit.
Peel
back
insulating
sticker
(Item
5)
to
expose
Main PCB.
Disconnect
the
batter
(+)
positive
terminal
from
the
left
side.
Split
the
two
halves
apart
and
disconnect
the
(+)
positive
terminal
on
the
right
side.

from fan/guard
assembly
(Item
34)
and
bottom
plate
assembly

2).
Remove
fan/guard
assembly
from
unit
and
disconnect
wire
connection.

Cut
and
remove
wire
ties
(Item
3)
form
fan/guard
assembly.
Remove
guard
and
wipe
clean
with
damp
cloth.
Using
a
damp
cloth,
wipe
the
fan
blades
and
housing.
Do
not
immerse
fan
into
cleaner.
Wipe
dry
or
allow
to air
dry
prior
to
reinstallation.
Securély
attach
guard
to
fan
using
(2)
wire
ties
(Item
3).

Connect
molex
connector
on
fan/guard
assembly
to
connector
in
unit.
-
Securely
attach
fan/guard
assembly
to
bottom
plate
assembly
using
(2)
screws
(Item
39),
(2)
washers
(Item
35)
and
(2)
nuts
(Item
36).
Apply
a
drop
of
Loctite
#290
to
the
threads
of
the
screws.

Reattach
battery
terminals
and
close
Main
PCB
and
reattach
insulating
bag

5) to
unit.
Place
case
on
unit
and
securely
fasten
using

washers
