Several factors can cause your Signature Kitchen Suite Ventilation Hood to vent improperly. The hood might be too high above the cooktop; in this case, adjust the distance to between 26" and 36". Wind from open windows or doors could interfere; close them to eliminate the wind flow. There might be a blockage in the duct opening or duct work, so clear any obstructions. The duct opening's direction could be against the wind; adjust its direction. Finally, incorrect ducting size can be a factor; change the ducting to the correct size.
