4.22.2 Monitoring an Existing Fire Alarm Control
Separate zone connections must be made to both the alarm relay and trouble relay when using
the 4821/4820 Control Panel to monitor an existing fire alarm control. Zone inputs on the
4821/4820 Control Panel are considered Class B (Style A). Refer to Figure 4-27 and Table 4-
8 for wiring configuration and zone programming requirements.
