WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK – DO NOT OPEN
Danger of electric shock – do not open!
In addition: To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not open the housing of the device.
This device does not contain any controls inside. Have repairs carried out only by
qualified personnel.
A lightning flash symbol within a triangle alerts the user that this appliance
contains uninsulated electrical parts that may constitute a risk of electric
shock.
An exclamation mark within a triangle alerts the user to the presence of
important information in the operating instructions regarding the
appliance. This information relates to the maintenance, repair and
operation of the appliance.
˗ For safety reasons, the housing of the device may only be removed by a
qualified technician. There are no controls inside.
˗ Repairs may only be carried out by qualified electricians. Improper repairs
can pose significant risks and cause damage to the device. Never open the
housing of the device. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
˗ Modifying or converting the device is not permitted.
˗ Plug the power cord into a readily accessible 230 V ~ 50 Hz household socket.
˗ When plugging or unplugging the device, always hold the power plug in your
hand. Never pull on the power cord - this may cause damage to the cord.
˗ During thunderstorms or if unused for long periods, unplug the device from
the power supply.
˗ Place the device on a stable, vibration-free, flat surface.
˗ The device must not be exposed to excessive heat or direct sunlight and must
not be placed directly next to devices or radiators that generate radiation.
˗ The device should not be used in extreme cold.
˗ The device may only be operated in dry rooms. Use the device
˗ not in rooms near water, e.g. bathtub, kitchen sink, washbasin, etc.
˗ The device is not suitable for use in tropical countries with high humidity.
˗ Do not expose the device to dirt or dust.
˗ Operate the device as far away as possible from PCs, TVs and microwaves.
˗ Do not cover the ventilation openings of the device (e.g. with blankets,
curtains, newspapers, etc.). Therefore, never operate the device on a soft
surface (e.g. bed, couch) and do not place blankets or carpets underneath.
˗ To avoid impairing the ventilation of the device, it should not be placed in
boxes or shelves.
