˗ Objects filled with liquids (vases, glasses, etc.) must not be placed on the
device.
˗ Do not place any burning candles or similar on the device.
˗ Unplug the appliance if it is not used for a long period of time.
˗ Protect the cable. The cable must not be walked on, crushed or trapped
between two objects or a door.
˗ To avoid tripping hazards, do not use extension cords and make sure that the
power cord is not hanging down and is out of the reach of children
˗ Check the power cable from time to time for any damage. If the cable is
damaged, the device must not be used and the cable must be replaced by
qualified personnel.
˗ Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
˗ Do not use any cleaning agents containing petrol, thinner or anti-static sprays
for cleaning. Use a damp cloth.
˗ If you notice a burning smell and/or smoke, unplug the device from the
power supply. Take the device in for service before using it again.
˗ Never throw batteries into fire. RISK OF EXPLOSION!
˗ Used batteries are hazardous waste and do NOT belong in household waste.
Please dispose of them at suitable collection points.
˗ Your device is packaged to protect it from damage during transport.
Packaging is a raw material and can therefore be reused or returned to the
raw material cycle.
Children:
˗ Never let children use or play with electrical devices unsupervised.
˗ Give children appropriate instructions before operating the appliance.
˗ Batteries/rechargeable batteries can be life-threatening if swallowed. Therefore,
keep the device and the batteries out of the reach of small children. If a battery is
swallowed, medical help must be sought immediately.
˗ Also keep the packaging foil away from children. There is a risk of suffocation.

The CD player is a Class 1 laser product. The device is equipped with a safety system
that prevents the escape of dangerous laser beams during normal use. To avoid eye
injury, never tamper with or damage the device's safety system.
