Power supply
Network operation:
Connect the supplied power cable to the power connector on the back of the device and the
plug to a properly installed 230 V ~ 50 Hz household socket.
Any batteries inserted will be switched off automatically.
Unplug the power cord from the socket if the device is not used for a long period of time.
Please note:
As soon as the power cable is plugged into a socket, the red standby indicator on the front
of the device lights up.
Even when the device is switched off, it is still connected to the mains. If you do not use it
for a long period of time, you should unplug it.
Battery operation:
Disconnect the device from the power supply if you want to operate it with batteries.
Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the
device.
Insert 4 x size “C” batteries (UM-2/LR-14 - not
included) into the compartment, observing the
polarity.
Close the battery compartment carefully.
