Power supply
Network operation:
Connect the supplied power cable to the power connector on the back of the device and the
plug to a properly installed 230 V ~ 50 Hz household socket.
Any batteries inserted will be switched off automatically.
Unplug the power cord from the socket if the device is not used for a long period of time.
Please note:
– As soon as the power cable is plugged into a socket, the red standby indicator on the front
of the device lights up.
– Even when the device is switched off, it is still connected to the mains. If you do not use it
for a long period of time, you should unplug it.
Battery operation:
Disconnect the device from the power supply if you want to operate it with batteries.
Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the
device.
– Insert 4 x size “C” batteries (UM-2/LR-14 - not
included) into the compartment, observing the
polarity.
– Close the battery compartment carefully.
