Hold the trimmer body

firmly and turn the
battery compartment cap

counter-clockwise
until the vertical mark on the battery compartment
cap

is aligned with the symbol on the trim-
mer body

Then remove the battery compartment cap

from the trimmer body

Remove the used battery

, if present.
Insert a new battery type AA (LR6) in the trimmer
body

Indication: Pay attention to the right polarity.
This is indicated on the bottom of the trimmer
body

Put the battery compartment cap

back on the
trimmer body

Hold the trimmer body

firmly and turn the
battery compartment cap

clockwise until
the vertical mark on the battery compartment
cap

is aligned with the symbol on the
trimmer body
