Why is the crema too dark when using my Silvercrest 321581 1901?

If the crema is too dark and the espresso runs out of the sieve carrier slowly, it may be because the coffee is over-roasted or too finely ground. Try using medium coffee powder or coffee powder that is specially produced for making espresso.
