NOTE
► The first production phase may last a little longer than the following ones.
► The ice cubes do not reach full size until around the third production
phase, depending on the water and ambient temperature.
► The production time is dependent on the water and ambient temperature.
Stopping ice cube production
WARNING
► Drain the water from the water tank after a maximum of 24 hours.
Otherwise, bacteria can start to build up!
♦ Press the button to stop ice production. The control lamp flashes
green.
♦ To switch off the appliance completely, remove the ice cubes and pull the
plug from the mains power socket.
♦ Allow the appliance to defrost and check whether there is any water left in
the rear part of the appliance. To do this, tip the appliance slightly forwards
so that the water runs into the water tank .
♦ To let the water out of the water tank , pull the appliance forward so that
it juts out over the edge of the worktop and you have access to the drain
opening on the underside of the appliance. Ensure, however, that the
front feet still have a firm foothold.
Hold a container that is suitably large to hold the expected amount of water
under the drain opening and pull out the cap.
♦ Once the water has drained out, push the cap firmly back into the drain
opening .
