8. Assembly
NOTE: first remove the blade assembly (see
“Removing the blade assembly from the
Monsieur Cuisine” on page 21).
Work steps:
1. Insert the shaft adapter6 from the top
into the blender jug.
Please take note that the two cams at
the base of the shaft adapter6 must be
pushed through the two recesses in the
underside of the blender jug.
CAUTION:
~ Ensure that the sealing
ring7 is properly posi-
tioned on the shaft adapt-
er
6, since otherwise the
contents might escape.
2. Position the blender jug of the
Monsieur Cuisine horizontally.
3. In order to lock the shaft
adapter6, move the unlocking
lever on the underside of the
blender jug so that it points to
the closed lock symbol.
4. Insert the blender jug into
the blade socket of the
Monsieur Cuisine.
5. Press the blender jug
down slightly until it is
properly seated.
NOTES:
• If the blender jug cannot be pressed
downwards, you need to “wobble” it
slightly so that the flower-shaped hub of
the shaft adapter6 in the blender jug
engages with the blade socket of the
Monsieur Cuisine.
• Should the blender jug not be posi-
tioned correctly, a safety mechanism
prevents the functioning of the device.
6. Place the axle5 for the grater and cut-
ting disc on the shaft adapter

NOTE: ensure that the axle5 is firmly at-
tached to the shaft adapter
6. The plastic
tabs on the axle5 must engage with the re-
cesses on the adapter.
7. Position the grater and cutting disc4 on
the shaft adapter6 in such a way that
the tool with which you want to work is
positioned on top.
8. Place the lid3 for the blender jug on
with a slight offset.
9. Turn the lid3 clockwise with both
hands until it is firmly in place.
NOTE: only when the lid3 is correctly
closed, the device can start. The alignment
pin at the upper end of the axle5 must be
inserted in the middle of the lid3 when clos-
ing.
