5) Check the food at regular intervals. When you
are satisfi ed, open the lid at the handle 2 and
remove the food from the griddle.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Do not use metal implements such as knives,
fork
s, etc. If the non-stick coating becomes
damaged, stop using the appliance.
6) When you have fi nished cooking food, discon-
nect the plug from the mains power socket. This
is the only way to switch the appliance off .

■ It is best to clean the appliance as soon as it

wn. This makes food residues
easier to remove.

■ Empty the fat drip tray 3. Then rinse in w
arm
water containing a mild detergent. Then rinse the
fat drip tray 3 with clean water and dry it off .
■ Wipe the griddle with a damp cloth after it has
cooled do
wn. The griddle must be completely
dry before using it again.
NOTE
► If any stubborn residue sticks to the griddle,
use a little deter
gent. Then wipe the griddle
with a cloth moistened with clean water.
Ensure that no detergent residue remains on
the griddle.
► If you have used detergent to clean the grid-
dle, mak
e sure that you rub it lightly with oil
afterwards!
■ Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. If neces-
sar
y, put a little mild detergent on the cloth and
wipe this off afterwards with clear water. Dry
everything properly.
Storage
■ Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location.
