Before first use
Before you can use the appliance, it needs to be charged for at least 3 ½ hours.
Charging the appliance
CAUTION
► Use only the supplied mains adapter 0 to charge the battery.
► Do not use the appliance while it is charging.
1) Make sure that the appliance is switched off. The main switch 6 must be
set to OFF.
2) Insert the USB plug 8 into the USB connection socket 7 on the underside
of the handle 4 (fig. 1):

3) Connect the USB charging cable 9 to the mains adapter 0 and and plug
the mains adapter 0 into a suitable mains socket.
9 When the ring display 5 lights up green, the appliance is fully charged.
The battery level is displayed as follows:
Ring display 5 Meaning
Lights up red Appliance switched on, battery charge less than 20 %.
Flashes red Appliance is charging, battery level less than 30 %.
Flashes green Appliance is charging, battery level at least 30 %.
Lights up green Appliance switched on, battery fully charged.
4) Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and unplug the USB charg-
ing cable 9 from the appliance.
A full battery charge lasts up to 4 hours of operation at a medium intensity level.
The battery can be recharged at any time and at any battery level.
