The core function of the Smart Motion Sensor is motion detection. It identifies changes in temperature within its detection area, which are then interpreted as movement. When motion is detected, the product can send notifications to the user's mobile device, providing real-time alerts. The sensor operates on Zigbee 3.0 wireless technology, enabling seamless integration with a compatible gateway and the Lidl Home app.
The device includes a tamper alarm feature. This alarm is triggered if the product is removed from its wall bracket, providing an additional layer of security by alerting the user to potential tampering or unauthorized removal of the sensor.
The sensor also features a test mode, which is activated automatically after a warm-up phase. In this mode, if human body movement is detected, a notification is sent as a reminder.
