~ Do not expose the device to direct sun-
shine or heat. Use the device only in the
temperature range from +10 °C to
+35 °C. Only charge the battery within
this temperature range.
~ Only use a power supply unit with pro-
tection class II for charging, which has
been approved for use with household
products.
The output power of the power supply
unit must not exceed 5 V, 1 A.

~ The points of the beard trimmer attach-
ment are sharp. Handle with care.
~ Do not use the device if the attachment
shows damages.
~ Switch off the device before pinning up
or changing the attachments and each
time before cleaning.

jets of water (protection type IPX6), but
must not be immersed in water.
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
~ In order to avoid any hazards, do not
make modifications to the device. Re-
pairs must be carried out by a specialist
workshop or the Service Centre.

5. Charging
WARNING!
~ Due to the high power consumption, do
not charge the device through a laptop /
PC. Only charge the device via a USB
power adapter (1 A output current, not
included in the items supplied).
~ The device must not be covered while
the battery is charging.
~ The device must only be charged in a
dry environment and not near water.
NOTES:
• When using a USB power adapter (not
included in the items supplied), comply
with its user instructions.
• Charge the device for approx. 90 min-
utes before using it for the first time.
• The capacity/charging state of the bat-
tery8 is displayed in percent (00, 05,
10, ... ,100% in 5% increments).
• When the battery is almost flat, the
plug symbol9 flashes in red. The de-
vice can then only be used for a short
time.
