8. Initial use
8.1 Switching the fan on and off
Proceed as follows to put the fan into operation:
• Select a location that meets the safety instructions in Section 5.
• Operate the fan on a flat, stable surface.
• Insert the plug into a properly installed socket.
• Turn the power supply on by setting the
rotary switch (2) to the ON position.
• Turn the power supply off by setting the
rotary switch (2) to the OFF position.
8.2 Configuring the fan speed
• Fan speed low: Press button 1 (6) until it locks in place.
• Fan speed medium: Press button 2 (4) until it locks in place.
• Fan speed high: Press button 3 (3) until it locks in place.
• Stop the ventilation by pressing the OFF button (7).
8.3 Configuring the TIMER
The TIMER enables you to set a running time between 0 and 120 minutes.
• Turn the TIMER on by setting the rotary
switch (2) to any position between 0 and
120 minutes. This will also turn the
power supply on.
• Please note that the TIMER cannot be set
to a precise minute.
• Turn the TIMER off by turning the rotary
switch (2) to the OFF position.
