  • Initial Use: Before first use, the kettle (8) and limescale filter (9) must be cleaned to remove dust and packaging residue.
    1. Open the lid (1) by pressing the lid release button (2) and remove the limescale filter (9).
    2. Rinse the inside of the kettle (8) with clear water and clean the limescale filter (9) under running water.
    3. Fill the kettle (8) with drinking water up to the '1.7 l MAX' mark.
    4. Close the lid (1) by pressing it down until it snaps into place.
    5. Boil the water once and pour it out. Repeat this process (steps 1-3) again.
    6. Reinstall the limescale filter (9). The kettle is then ready for use.
  • Boiling Water:
    1. Ensure the power cable (6) is unwound from the underside of the base (7) and passes through one of the designated openings for stable positioning.
    2. Place the base (7) on a flat, non-slip, and dry surface.
    3. Open the lid (1) by pressing the lid release button (2).
    4. Fill the kettle (8) with fresh drinking water. The minimum filling amount is 0.5 litres, indicated by a special 'MIN 0.5L' mark inside the kettle (8) (visible when the lid is open). The maximum filling amount is 1.7 litres, indicated by the '1.7L MAX' mark on the water level gauge (4).
    5. Close the lid (1) firmly.
    6. Place the kettle (8) on the base (7). The kettle can rotate 360° on its vertical axis, allowing you to position the water level gauge (4) for easy viewing or direct steam away from you.
    7. Plug the power cable (6) into an easily accessible power socket.
    8. Press the ON/OFF switch (5) down to switch on the kettle (8). The status display in the switch (5) will light up. The kettle will make noise during heating, which is normal.
    9. The kettle (8) automatically switches off once the water boils. The ON/OFF switch (5) returns to the upper position, and the status display turns off.
    10. Unplug the power cable (6) from the socket, remove the kettle (8) from the base (7), and pour out the water.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Never immerse the kettle (8) or base (7) in water.
    • Do not touch the kettle housing (8) during or immediately after operation; always use the handle (3).
    • Be careful of hot steam when water boils; direct it away from you.
    • Only boil water with the lid (1) closed to prevent boil-overs and burns.
    • Do not open the lid (1) while water is heating.
    • The heating element surface remains hot after use.
    • Do not leave the kettle unattended during operation.
    • Unplug the kettle when unattended.
    • Ensure the power cord (6) is not damaged by sharp edges or hot surfaces, and always wrap it around the cable rewind under the base (7) after use.
    • If the power cable (6) is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person.
    • Never open the base (7) housing as it contains no user-serviceable parts.
    • If smoke, unusual noises, or smells occur, switch off the kettle, unplug it, and have it checked by a specialist. Do not inhale smoke from a burning device.
    • Only connect the base (7) to a properly installed, easily accessible power socket with matching mains voltage.
    • Do not spill liquid on the device's plug connection.
    • Fill the kettle (8) with a minimum of 0.5 litres of water to prevent overheating and fire risk.
    • Keep the kettle at least 50 cm away from flammable and combustible materials.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Always wait for the kettle (8) to cool down completely before cleaning to prevent burns.
    • Unplug the kettle from the power socket before cleaning to avoid electric shock.
    • Do not pour or spray liquids onto the base (7) or immerse it in water.
    • Do not use scratching or abrasive cleaning agents or objects (e.g., metal scourers) as they can damage the kettle (8).
    • Rinse the inside of the kettle (8) with clear water.
    • Clean the outer surfaces of the kettle (8) and base (7) with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a little washing-up liquid on the cloth. Ensure no detergent residue remains before next use.
    • Dry the kettle (8) and base (7) thoroughly before next use.
    • For stubborn stains inside the kettle (8), use a cleaning or bottle brush with a long handle.
  • Descaling the Kettle (8): Limescale can build up over time, reducing energy efficiency and shortening the kettle's lifespan.
    • Use a descaling agent suitable for coffee machines and other household appliances, following its instructions.
    • After descaling, rinse the kettle (8) several times with plenty of clear water.
  • Cleaning the Limescale Filter (9): The limescale filter (9) should be cleaned periodically.
    1. Remove the cooled kettle (8) from the base (7).
    2. Open the lid (1) by pressing the lid release button (2).
    3. Carefully reach into the kettle (8), grasp the upper end of the limescale filter (9), and pull it up and out of its holder. Note that the holder cannot be removed.
    4. Place the limescale filter (9) in a warm descaling solution for several hours, then rinse thoroughly with clear water.
    5. Replace the limescale filter (9) by sliding it from above into the side guides of the holder.
    6. Close the lid (1) by pressing it down until it snaps into place.
  • Storage: If not used for a long time, store the kettle in a clean, dry, and dust-free place.
    • Allow the kettle (8) to cool down completely before storing.
    • Wrap the power cable (6) around the cable rewind under the base (7).
