Measuring body temperature
from the forehead
Note: Please note that the forehead / temples must
be free from sweat and cosmetics, and that taking va-
soconstrictive medication and skin irritation can falsify
the measurement result for the forehead measurement.
To switch on the multi-function thermometer, press
the ON /OFF/ MEASURE button

second.
Place the measuring
head directly against
your temple with the
forehead / cover cap

attached.
Press and hold the MEASURE button

and
guide the multi-purpose thermometer steadily
across the forehead to the other temple.
Then release the
MEASURE button

.
The measured value
appears on the display
and the end of the
measuring process is indicated by a short beep
(when the key tone is activated). When the
