What to do if Silverline Water Pump does not start or stops suddenly?
    • L
      Lisa FlynnJul 28, 2025
If your Silverline Water Pump fails to start or unexpectedly stops, several factors could be at play. First, the motor might have overheated, triggering the thermal overload protection. Immediately disconnect the pump from the power, find out why it overheated, and clean the impeller, ensuring that the water temperature doesn't exceed 35°C. Another cause could be a lack of power, so check the fuses and electrical connections, consulting an electrician if needed. Lastly, dirt particles might be lodged in the suction base, requiring you to clean it.

Why is my Silverline Water Pump running but not pumping water?
    • J
      Jason LeonardAug 10, 2025
If your Silverline Water Pump is running but not pumping water, first check the output hose for kinks or clogs and ensure it is clean. Air blockages in the suction base could also be the problem; allow up to one minute for the pump to automatically de-aerate via the vent valve, or try switching it off and on again. A clogged impeller can also prevent water delivery, so clean it according to the maintenance instructions. If the impeller is damaged, contact your dealer or an authorized Silverline service center. Also ensure that the water level doesn't fall below the minimum when the pump starts; if it does, submerge the pump deeper.
