,CENTRONICS H80 OPTION SWITCH_ES
The DIP switches on-the Ce&ronics H80 Printer are used to select the printer’s baud rate and parity. The DIP
switches are located on a circuit board at the right rear of the printer. To access the switches, you must remove
the printer’s cover as follows:
(1) Remove power from the printer and unplug it from its wall socket.
(2) Lift the hinged front cover and remove the ribbon cassette.
(3) Remove screw from front center of printer.
(4) Remove the platen knob by pulling it straight outward. Notice the flat keyway for the shaft.
(5) Loosen the two screws at the rear of the printer.
(6) Lift the cover at the rear, then continue CAREFULLY until the front latching tabs disengage (they will make
a snapping sound).
