Mowing precautions
• Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.
• Do not operate the mower without either the entire grass
catcher or the deflector in place.
• Be aware of the mower discharge direction and do not
point it at anyone.
• Do not mow in reverse unless absolutely necessary.
Always look down and behind before and while
travelling in reverse.
• Before and during reverse operation, look behind and
down for small children.
• Stop unit if anyone enters the area.
• If you strike an object, stop the unit, stop the engine
and inspect the equipment. Repair, if necessary,
before restarting.
• Never leave a running unit unattended. Before leaving the
operator’s position for any reason, always disengage the
PTO, set parking brake, stop engine, and remove the key.
• Push down on the PTO switch to disengage the blades
when not mowing.
• Stop engine before removing grass catcher or
unclogging the chute.
