Mowing precautions
Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.
Do not operate the mower without either the entire grass
catcher or the deflector in place.
Be aware of the mower discharge direction and do not
point it at anyone.
Do not mow in reverse unless absolutely necessary.
Always look down and behind before and while
travelling in reverse.
Before and during reverse operation, look behind and
down for small children.
Stop unit if anyone enters the area.
If you strike an object, stop the unit, stop the engine
and inspect the equipment. Repair, if necessary,
before restarting.
Never leave a running unit unattended. Before leaving the
operator’s position for any reason, always disengage the
PTO, set parking brake, stop engine, and remove the key.
Push down on the PTO switch to disengage the blades
when not mowing.
Stop engine before removing grass catcher or
unclogging the chute.
