Usage Features
- Control Panel: Features an On/off indicator, Program marker, Indicators (washing phase, end, rinse aid, half load), Start button, Half load button, and Program knob.
- Program Selection: Programs are selected using the program knob. The appliance must be in Program selection mode to start a program.
- Reset Function: Allows cancellation of a running program, returning the appliance to Program selection mode.
- Rinse Aid Dispenser: Automatically releases rinse aid during the hot rinse phase to prevent streaks and stains. An indicator light signals when to refill.
- Detergent Dispenser: Designed for standard detergent. For programs with a prewash phase, a small quantity of detergent can be added to a separate compartment (B).
- Multi-tablets: When using multi-tablets, the rinse aid dispenser should be set to the lowest position.
- Half Load Option (1/2): Available for ECO and other specific programs. This option reduces program duration, water, and energy consumption for smaller loads. Both baskets should be loaded, and less detergent used.
- Door Opening during Operation: Opening the door pauses the program; closing it resumes the program from the point of interruption.
- End of Program: The end indicator illuminates. For better drying results, it is recommended to open the door 5-10 cm and allow tableware to cool for 30-40 minutes before unloading.
Maintenance Features
- General Safety: Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before maintenance.
- Filter Cleaning: Dirty filters and clogged spray arms can reduce washing results. Filters (flat filter C, main filter A, microfilter B) should be checked regularly and cleaned. This involves removing the filters, cleaning them, and reassembling them correctly.
- Spray Arm Cleaning: If spray arm holes are clogged, remove soil particles with a thin pointed object. Spray arms should not be removed for cleaning.
- External Cleaning: Clean with a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents. Avoid abrasive products, pads, or solvents.
- Internal Cleaning: Clean the appliance, including the rubber gasket of the door, with a soft moist cloth. To prevent grease and limescale deposits from short duration programs, running a long duration program at least twice a month is recommended.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as the appliance not activating, programs not starting, water filling/draining problems, and unsatisfactory washing/drying results. It also explains alarm codes indicated by flashing lights.
- Warranty: The product comes with a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects in New Zealand. Service and spare parts information, including free call numbers, are provided.
- Environmental Concerns: The appliance and packaging materials are recyclable. Do not dispose of the appliance with household waste; return it to a local recycling facility.
