Inspect for vibrations, noises, clogged outlets, and brush wear.
Choose electrode diameter based on material thickness, position, and join type.
Select welding current based on electrode manufacturer recommendations.
Insert cables, set current range and welding current, then weld.
Troubleshoot excessive splashes, long arcs, and high/low current.
Troubleshoot no voltage at idle, connection, excitation bridge, or winding faults.
Address low current due to selector position, speed, or excitation bridge faults.
Troubleshoot high current due to incorrect selectors or excessive motor speed.
