side

the
garment
with

edge
of
hem
extending

folded.

the
garment
under
the
foot
so
that
double-folded
edge
runs
&ong
the
hemfguide
and
lower
the
foot.
Sew
slowly
for
better
control,
marking
sure
the
narrow
zigzag
stitches
will
fall
on
the
hem
edge
and
wide
zigzag
stitches
will
just
catch
one
thread
of
folded
edge.
