Check
oil
flow
in
window
when
machine
is
running.
Check
oil
flow
to
hook
by
holding
a small
piece
of
paper
under
the
hook
while
machine
is
running.
After
15
seconds,
the
paper
should
show
an
oil
pattern
of
approx
1/32
inch
(0.8mm).
Less
oil
More
oil
Fill
oil
reservoir
to
high
mark.
Check
daily.

for

are

RPM
(4500
RPM

however,
for
the
first
150
hours
machines
should
be
run
at

Tilt machine, loosen nut, shift rod (left=longer, right=shorter), tighten nut, return.

457U105 Zig-Zag Range

Set hand lever for desired zig-zag stitch within 0-8 bight range.

457U105 Needle Positioning

Set hand lever to desired needle positions (Left, Center, Right).

ZIG-ZAG STITCH SETTINGS (457U125-140)

457U125 Zig-Zag Range

For 457U125 machine, set hand lever for zig-zag stitch within 0-5 bight range.

457U135/140 Zig-Zag Range

For 457U135/140 machines, set hand lever for zig-zag stitch within 0-8 bight range.

PRESSER FOOT PRESSURE

Adjusting Foot Pressure

Pressure on material should be light but sufficient for correct feeding.
