Needle position selector

This selector positions the needle in the center, left and right positions.

Stitch width lever

This selector adjusts the width of the zigzag stitching.

Stitch length dial

This selector adjusts space between stitches. The dot (mark in relief) is the indication.

Pattern selector dial

It selects the stitch type. In the S5430C model it has 8 positions, from A to H.

Stitch balance selector (only for model 5430C)

This selector adjusts the movement of the zigzag stitching with forward and reverse movement.
