  If your Singer Steam Cleaner fails to produce steam and the indicator lights are off, there are a couple of things to check: * First, make sure the steamer is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. * Second, inspect your household circuit breaker or ground fault interrupter to see if it has been tripped, or if a fuse has blown. If so, reset the breaker or replace the fuse. If problems persist, it's best to consult a qualified electrician.

  Some gurgling from the hose and steam nozzle is a normal part of the steam cleaning process. However, if the gurgling is excessive, try extending the hose vertically. This allows any condensation to drain back into the water reservoir.
