INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This product is Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) category II for head
protection. It protects the head against falling objects, hitting an obstacle
and being pressed. It is only intended for professional use and rescue
interventions. Do not use the product for other purposes or before reading and
understanding the manual. Contact SINGING ROCK if you have any doubts or
difficulty understanding these instructions.
Prior to each use verify the condition and function of the shell (cracks,
deformation, …), chin strap, buckles and sizing mechanism before each use.
Any helmet cannot protect the user effectively in every situation. To get
maximum protection, it must fit perfectly on the head and all adjustable parts
must be tightened properly (fig. 2).
1) Release the buckles of headband system (fig. 3),
2) put the helmet on and use two buckles to adjust the straps to your head
circuit (fig. 3),
3) lock the chin-strap buckle and adjust the strap to get the best fit (fig. 4),
4) properly tightened helmet shall not move on your head.
This helmet is designed to absorb part of impact energy by deforming the
shell. This deformation can be invisible, that is why we recommend producer’s
inspection of the product and possibly replace the product if necessary. This
helmet can be safely used in a temperature range from -20°C up to +30 °C.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
ATTENTION! Common chemicals such as solvents, paints and glues can
damage seriously the helmet. This damage can be invisible. Do not use any
stickers, except of these, recommended by producer.
Do not expose the helmet to high temperatures. Do not leave the helmet inside
a vehicle in direct sunlight.
Due to lightweight design of this helmet, do not force it when packing it, do not
sit on it and avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects.
MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND DISINFECTION (fig. 6)
The product may be washed with “household-quality” clean water.
If it is still dirty after being washed or if you need to disinfect it, you can use
lukewarm water (up to 30 °C), and if necessary a soapy solution (ca. pH
5.5–8.5) may be used. After that, the product must be washed in clean water.
