HYDRAULIC HOSE AND FITTING
TORQUE PROCEDURE
The hydraulic hose and fitting must be torqued to the
following requirements when they are installed.
1. Replace the O-ring if damaged. The O-ring cannot
be reused if the fitting or hose end has been tight-
ened beyond finger tight.
2. Lubricate the O-ring before installation.
3. Properly seat the O-ring.
4. Position the tube and nut squarely on the fitting.
Then tighten the nut as required.
5. Tighten the nut or fitting to the torque specified in
the appropriate table.
6. Operate all machine functions and inspect the hose,
fittings and related components to confirm there are
no leaks.
