DESCRIPTION
Picking unit (pos. 1, fig. 1) picks the Maize
cobs from stalk by two rollers (pos. 1, fig 2)
which pull the stalk strongly downwards
through two adjustable picking plates (pos. 2,
fig. 2) where the cob is separated from the
stalk and two transport chains (pos. 2, fig. 1)
take the cob into husking unit. Miller (pos. 2,
fig. 1) crashes the rest of the Maize stalk and
spreads it over the surface. Metal and rubber
rollers husk Maize cobs in the husking unit
(pos. 3, fig. 1). Transport shovels above
rollers (pos. 4, fig. 1) push Maize cobs to the
conveyor (pos. 5, fig. 1) where rubber
shovels, fixed on chain, lift them into hopper
(pos. 6, fig.1). Hopper is emptied with help of
hydraulic cylinders (pos. 7, fig. 1) which get
needed oil quantity from tractor’s hydraulic
system. The ventilator (pos. 9, fig. 1) cleans
Maize cobs from admixture.
