STRETCHER AND LAY FLAT
1, REMOVE SKED
®
FROM PACK AND
PLACE ON GROUND.
3, BEND THE SKED
®
OVER YOUR FOREARM
AND BACK ROLL. REPEAT WITH OPPOSITE END
OF STRETCHER. IN COLD WEATHER, IT MAY BE
NECCESSARY TO REVERSE ROLL IT TWICE.
4, SKED
®
STRETCHER WILL NOW LAY
FLAT.

2, UNFASTEN RETAINER STRAP. STEP
ON FOOT END OF SKED
®
AND UNROLL
COMPLETELY TO OPPOSITE END.

Summary

To Unroll Sked Stretcher and Lay Flat

Remove from Pack and Place on Ground

Remove the Sked stretcher from its pack and place it on the ground.

Unfasten Strap and Unroll

Unfasten the retainer strap, step on the foot end, and unroll completely to the opposite end.

Bend and Roll Over Forearm

Bend the stretcher over your forearm and back roll, repeating for the opposite end if needed.

Stretcher Lies Flat

The Sked stretcher will now lay flat on the ground after unrolling.

Rolling Up the Sked Stretcher

Prepare Stretcher for Rolling

Lay the stretcher flat with straps connected and prepare the retainer strap for steel buckles.

Roll Stretcher Tightly

Roll the Sked stretcher tightly from the head end, using a knee for control.

Fasten Cobra Buckles

Secure the tight roll by fastening the Cobra buckles of the foot end straps.

Finalize with Steel Buckles

Fasten the retainer strap to the buckle for steel buckles and place the stretcher in the backpack.
