Problem Cause Remedy

4. Worn chain. 4. Replace the chain, following the

5. Dry or excessively
stretched chain.
5. Check the oil level. Rell the oil tank if
necessary.
6. Chain not in bar groove. 6. Reinstall the saw chain, following
the section: “

Chain
”.

1. Check chain tension for
over-tightened condition.
