WARNING
Windscreen washer fluid without sufficient antifreeze protection may freeze
on the windscreen and restrict the view to the front.
● Use the windscreen washer system in cold weather only with sufficient
antifreeze protection.
● Never use the windscreen washer system in cold weather as long as the
windscreen has not been warmed up with the ventilation system. Otherwise
the antifreeze mixture may freeze on the windscreen and restrict visibility.
WARNING
Worn or dirty wiper blades reduce visibility and increase the risk of accidents
and serious injuries.
● Always change wiper blades whenever they are damaged or worn and not
able to clean the window sufficiently.
NOTICE
In frosty weather, before switching on the windscreen wipers, check that the
wiper blades are not frozen to the windscreen! When the vehicle is parked in
cold weather, the service position of the windscreen wipers may be helpful
⇒ page 152.

Automatic wash-wipe to clean the windscreen while pulling the lev-
er.
NOTICE
When the ignition is switched off while the windscreen wipers are on, the
windscreen wipers will resume wiping in the same wiper stage when you
switch on the ignition again the next time. Frost, snow and other obstructions
on the windscreen may damage the windscreen wipers and the wiper motor.
