Buttons
Approach
Accept call
Press the speech key after the door bell rings. The speech function to the
door station is activated.
Terminate a call
Press the speech key for terminating the call. The intercom unit automatically
switches off after 2.5 minutes.
Alternate talk
Once the call has been accepted, the talk button can also be used to disable
the hands-free function. As long as the talk button is pressed, speaking from
the internal unit to the door unit is possible. If the talk button is not pressed,
the talk direction is from the door unit to the internal unit.
Switching off the ring
tone
Press the ring-tone on/off key continuously (for approx. 5 seconds) until you
hear the confirmation tone. Now the ring tone is switched off. To draw
attention to this state the LED above the speech key is blinking every 2-
second.
After 12 hours or after a power supply cut-off, the ring tone is
automatically switched back on.
Switching on the ring
tone
Press the ring-tone on/off key briefly. You hear a signal tone. The ringtone is
switched on again and the LED above the speech key doesn’t blink any
more.
Open door
When the door bell rings, you have 2.5 minutes to open the door with the
open door key. You can open the door within 2.5 minutes after the door bell
rings pressing the open door key. At an active call the voice communication is
terminated automatically after 10 seconds by pressing the open door key.
Changing the ring tone
for house calls

Press the ring tone key continuously and then briefly press the open door key
within 2 seconds. With every press of the open door key, you will hear a
different tone. When you hear the desired tone, release both keys.
You can choose from 8 different ring tones.
Changing the ring tone
for floor calls

Press the ring tone key continuously and, within 2 seconds, also press the
open door key without releasing it. Wait until you hear the desired ring tone.
Release both keys.
You can choose from 4 different ring tones.
Modifying the volume of
the ring tone
Press the ring tone key continuously until the desired volume has been
reached.
You can set the volume to 5 levels.
Light button and special
key

The light key and the special key “S” are used switch in combination with
switch actuator (order no. 300022).
Press the desired button until you hear the confirmation tone.
Internal call

Press and hold the internal call key until you hear a confirmation tone.
Programming of the internal call addresses is described in "5.2 Programming
of call addresses" and "6.1 Programming the internal call addresses".
Note:
Each effective key function is signalized by a LED above the ring tone on/ off key.
