The handheld tester
is unable to work
-Turn the key of car to ON position first
-Beyond operating temperature
-Temporary lock out if breathing above the limit, need to wait for the red light
to turn off
-Breathing duration failure
-Under lock out mode, check the LED indication when turning the key to the on
position
-Ensure a test is passed and the green light on handset is solid
-Check battery voltage of vehicle
-Possible mechanical problem with vehicle
If problem
persists contact
local service shop
-Blowing time incorrect
-Blowing is too soft, not stable or interrupted
-No mouthpiece attached
-Blowing temperature incorrect
-Blowing humidity incorrect
-Do not eat or drink anything for at least 15 minutes before taking test
Operation
Temperature out of
range
-environmental temperature is out of range
-Press and hold the TEST button until handset powers on.
-Check the power of vehicle
-Turn on the key of vehicle
-Finish the test process
-Handset posers off after error indication
-Low battery
-Low battery indication
-Check the battery of car
Alarm sound
(Constant Beeping)
-missed or failed random test
-device recorded a bypass
-device is in lockout mode
-The breath alcohol concentration above the display range.
-Yellow flashing: Service required state
-Yellow Solid: Permanent lock out vehicle
-Red flashing: Blocking state, wait 5 minutes for retest
-Red Solid: Blocking state, wait 30 minutes for retest
-Green flashing: ready for test stage
-Green solid: unblocking stage, able to start vehicle
